I never travel far without a little Big Star.

I hate to make excuses, but I've been just too darn busy to do anything interesting. I dyed my hair, made a few patterns and cut out all of my pieces for my costumes for Dragon*Con. My costume list is quite short this year. I'm flying to Atlanta for Con and I would like for everything to fit in my one suitcase. The costume tally so far includes two femme style comic book fellas and my usual Dolores Umbridge. I've started on femme Doctor Strange and I'm already questioning the skin to fabric ratio. When is too little? When is too much? Oh well, at least clothing is optional there. I'm really excited about my femme Riddler. I'm assuming I'm going with a 50's style take. Really, I'm about painting question marks. That, and figuring out how to construct folding specter. Please let it include a soldering iron.
I haven't even touched my oven for baking intentions in two months. Once in those two months for crab legs. Things have been so hectic which does not leave room for rolling out pie dough. Damn shame, too.
Oh!!! Lucero and Social Distortion are coming to town in November. What're two of my five weaknesses? If you said beards and whiskey voices you are correct. I don't want to wait, but I will.

I think I may have rambled on just enough for this post. Here's to hoping the next post has depth!
Till then.

  1. Depth is over-rated. I bet the Riddler will be awesome. Sad I'm not there to help.
